The small intestine meridian, one of the main meridians in traditional medicine, carries within it the flow of vital energy and blood that nourishes the body and holds miraculous healing secrets.

Pathway of the small intestine meridian:

Originating from the inner corner of the little finger’s nail, the small intestine meridian flows like a stream through the body:

  • Arm region: Following the inner edge of the little finger, through the wrist and forearm, it resembles a skilled artist, embellishing important acupoints such as Shaotze, Qiangu, Houxi, Wangu, and Yanggu.
  • Arm region: Passing the elbow, the meridian continues its journey along the back of the arm, up to the shoulder, like a swirling river, carrying energy to the acupoints Jianzhen, Ruyu, and Tianzong.
  • Neck and head region: From the shoulder, the meridian meanders up the neck, visiting Quanliao and Tinggong, then diagonally towards the front of the jaw, up to the cheekbone, finally stopping at the Tinggong acupoint.
